Evette Annandale

Evette Annandale’s love of design was shaped and matured within the walls of Inscape Education Group where she obtained a Bachelor of Design. Here she first learned about insatiable curiosity and what design thinking means in all aspects of life.

Her career saw her become a well-rounded interior designer, gaining experience in residential, hospitality, commercial and retail design.

The philosophy of being a creative problem solver enabled her to first become an established freelancer and eventually ensured that Annandale Design could take flight.

Today Evette's consultancy specialises in conceptual, retail and office design, taking pride in high level technical details merging effortlessly with art and design. Evette is always inspired to create spaces of high quality that is authentic and loyal to each client and brief.

Evette is also a registered Professional Interior Designer and Professional Architectural Draughtsperson with her local authorities (IID & SACAP).

Wendi Snyder

Wendi Snyder started a career in theatre specialising in costume and set design for student and professional productions at the Alexander Theatre Monash University.

She stayed there for 10 years before working with theatre producers such as Michael Edgley, Kevin Jacobson and Cameron Macintosh.

Her 25 year career in theatre took her around the world where she educated herself in architecture and interior design.

She left show business to work with property developers as an interior designer in commercial but mostly residential applications.

Today Wendi works as a tutor for The Interior Design Institute as well as running her own interior design company and consulting on predominantly domestic projects, specialising in kitchen, bathrooms and colour schemes.

Sophie Seeger

Sophie Seeger runs Seeger By Design, a creative consultancy for Interior Design, Decorating, Property Styling, Colour Consulting and Art Sourcing.

Sophie was immersed in art and design from a very young age, having “caught the bug” from her grandmother, a sculptor, and both art-loving parents.

She studied History of Art, Colour & Design, Interior Design and Journalism; and her career to date has successfully married her passion for art, design and writing.

While running a contemporary art and design gallery, Sophie developed a commission base for her paintings and also discovered her joy for commercial design development, identifying sustainable opportunities and incomes for artists and designers.

This led to two Indigenous rug and textile ranges with licensed deals with clients including DFAT, Qantas and public libraries. Sophie has a licensing deal for her own abstract art and has works in private collections throughout Australia, in South Africa, the US, UK, Denmark and Singapore.

Sophie has worked as an art and design mentor; as guest curator; and she continues to work on residential and boutique retail Interior Design projects.

She is a weekly contributor for Houzz and a member of the Design Institute.

Ashley is a very proud graduate of The Interior Design Institute. Through the diploma program she acquired the knowledge, skill, and confidence to pursue her dream of being a creative entrepreneur. She also has a great deal of administrative experience from past positions held with one of the top five banks in the world, in the mortgage administration and sales support departments.

In addition to working with clients you will find her blogging about interior design, DIY projects, trends, sourcing and offering vintage rugs and more. Some of her work has been featured in trade magazines and the school prospectus. She also recently became a home influencer for a major Canadian retailer which is a fabulous opportunity.

Through this design company, Leigh has completed hundreds of projects, including both commercial and residential; as well as historical and new construction.

Leigh has a heavy drafting background and has always utilised this skill in her design work.

She is also very competent in CAD and has lectured about it at various universities and schools.

Leigh has been a member of the local ASID, Design Council, and the Homebuilders Association, as well as teaching organisations known as the NEA and OEA.

Talin Leask

Talin's Interior Design career started upon graduation from the Academy of Design in Montreal, Canada.

She traveled to Dubai where she worked with large architectural and design practices, working on large hotels, residential projects and retail outlets in newly built shopping malls across the city.

Having moved to London she was able to work for 'Greenline Interiors' which specialised in Yacht Interiors as well as large scale royal residents based in the Middle East.

Having founded her own company some years ago she has managed to build her own clientele and has worked on refurb projects across the city as well as being involved in new build apartment projects in newly developed areas of London. She works closely with clients who have requested her expertise in office layouts, retail units and is currently working on a few commercial projects.

Her attention to detail and working closely with each client is what makes her method unique.

The platform of use with this online study was not a big decision, I opened up the website and immediately knew that I wanted to study here. The freedom of working in your own time and with the help of the online Tutor (which is amazing) gives you the choice of when and where to do it.
